  Bowater Sawmill
Currently, the services are provided on a 24-hour, 7 days a week basis.
Tanguay 430 A Tanguay 430 is utilized to assist in the offloading of both tree length and cut to length logs as they are delivered to the sawmill site.  This machine assists an overhead crane that offloads the majority of trucks, but cannot be adjusted quickly to the changing load sizes that arrive on an hourly basis.  The Tanguay is flexible and able to handle 8-foot and tree length logs without switching attachments.
CAT IT62 A CAT IT62 loader is utilized for a variety of functions. The machine is equipped with a grapple to assist in the loading of cut-to-length (8-foot) logs to the deck for feed to the sawmill.  The machine can quick couple to a 4-ton bucket for use in chip loading, snow removal, salt spreading and sawdust loading.  A set of short forks are also available for backup in the lumber yard for moving bundles of finished product.
CAT 950 There are four (4) CAT 950 forklifts in operation.  Three machines are equipped with 98" forks for moving bundles from the sawmill to the kiln and then to the planer.
Longfork The second and third long fork machines are utilized in the same rotation of feeding the sawmill, loading and unloading the kilns, and feeding the planer.
Shortfork There are two machines, a CAT 950 and a CAT IT28, with short forks that are used for removing the finished bundles from the mill and positioning them in the yard by size and grade.  These machines are then utilized to load both trucks and rail for shipping to the customer.
